ResonUp

Approach

What we mean, and what we don’t.

ResonUp uses words — intention, affirmation, visualization, manifestation — that a decade of marketing has stretched out of shape. This page is the definition we work to, and it binds the app, this website, the store listings and every sentence the AI produces.

The short version

A quiet tool, honestly described.

ResonUp helps you decide what today is about, keep that in view, and take one small step in the real world. That is the whole mechanism. Nothing else is working in the background, and we have no interest in implying that something is.

Everything below is the long version of that sentence.

01Definitions

Six words, defined.

Each of these appears somewhere in ResonUp. Each one means something specific here — and rules something specific out.

Intention

What it means here

Choosing, in words, what you want the day to be about. It is a decision you write down, so the rest of the day has something to be measured against.

What it does not mean

It is not a request sent anywhere. Nothing receives it and nothing acts on it except you.

Affirmation

What it means here

A short line you choose to keep in view: the sentence you would like to be true of how you act today. It works the way a note left on a desk works — it keeps attention pointed somewhere.

What it does not mean

Repetition does not make a sentence a fact. We do not claim that saying something often enough changes your body, your circumstances or anyone else’s behaviour.

Visualization

What it means here

A short guided rehearsal: picturing the step you are about to take, and the obstacle most likely to interrupt it. Mental rehearsal is an ordinary preparation technique, used by performers and athletes for a century.

What it does not mean

It is not a way of placing an order. Picturing something clearly does not cause it to happen.

Manifestation

What it means here

Here the word covers five concrete practices and nothing more: setting an intention, visualizing it, naming the obstacle, writing an if-then plan for when the obstacle appears, and reflecting afterwards on what actually happened.

What it does not mean

It is not a claim about cause. We do not say that thought, energy or vibration moves events in the world, and we do not sell that idea in any of our four languages.

Wellbeing

What it means here

General wellbeing: reflection, focus, routine, self-awareness, relaxation and personal growth. That is the category ResonUp is built for, and the only one it claims.

What it does not mean

It is not a medical category. ResonUp is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, it does not treat anything, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

Astrology

What it means here

Not part of ResonUp today. If a symbolic reflection lens is ever added, it will be opt-in, it will stay away from consequential questions, and the birth data behind it will carry its own consent and its own delete control.

What it does not mean

It will never be used to say something about health, death, pregnancy, money or legal matters, and it will never tell anyone what to decide.

02Boundaries

Eight claims we will never make.

These are not disclaimers bolted to the bottom of a page. They are copy rules, checked automatically on every build, and they govern the app, this site, store metadata and the AI’s own words alike.

  • 01

    We do not diagnose.

ResonUp does not assess you, screen you or name a condition, and nothing it shows you is an opinion about your health.

  • 02

    We do not treat.

ResonUp is not offered as a way to treat depression, anxiety, insomnia, burnout or anything else, and it makes no claim to prevent or cure a condition.

  • 03

    We are not therapy.

ResonUp is not therapy and does not stand in for it. If you are working with a professional, ResonUp can sit alongside that work — it is never a reason to stop.

  • 04

We make no claim about your brain.

ResonUp does not rewire your brain, does not regulate your nervous system and does not reprogram anything. Those are clinical claims and we have no basis for making them.

  • 05

    We do not promise money.

ResonUp will not bring you income, and it offers no advice about investments or finances. Where the word abundance appears, it names a mindset you practise, not a sum arriving.

  • 06

    We do not predict.

ResonUp does not predict your future, your health, a pregnancy, a death or a financial outcome, and it will not be built to.

  • 07

We guarantee nothing about your life.

No outcome is promised anywhere in this product. ResonUp shows you the direction you chose and the next small step towards it; what happens after that is yours.

  • 08

    We do not pressure you.

No countdown beside a price, no invented scarcity, no streak you are punished for breaking, and no notification designed to make a missed day feel like a failure.

03The standard

Why the line sits exactly here.

The boundary above is not our invention. It follows the general-wellness line regulators draw for low-risk products, and the substantiation standard that applies to any health-adjacent advertising claim. We write to those documents first and market second.

A disclaimer does not make a risky claim safe. That is why the rule is applied to the sentence itself, before it is written, rather than to a paragraph at the bottom of the page.

The guidance we write against

These are public standards we hold our own words to. Neither authority reviews, approves or endorses ResonUp.

04Safety

If something serious comes up.

When a message suggests a crisis, ResonUp stops its ordinary response. It says plainly that it is not an emergency service, and it points to the emergency and crisis resources where you are, and to someone you trust. It does not assess you and it does not diagnose. This is not a setting — it is always on.

ResonUp is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the emergency services where you are.
